GSI Focus for 2010-2011 and the future . . .
* Please note - beyond the heavy teaching load I will carry at NCS, my primary ministry focus will on God's priority to help protect, rescue, and restore vulnerable people who are oppressed and abused by predatory power players here in America & globally.
- Sadly, I will no longer have time or money for wildlife rehabilitation.
- Likewise, I will only have very limited time for basic crisis counseling of families.
- Similarly, I will not have as much time for seminars on creation vs. survival of the fittest, family counseling/counselor training, theology/biblical studies, etc.
** Even though my schedule now limits my time to address each of these needs, they are all increasingly vital problems today, so you & your church need to step up and do your part as commanded in the Good Shepherd's Word. His churches are not "christian" social clubs or entertainment centers. His true ekklesias are hospitals for the hurting and educational centers for those eager to learn and grow in His character.

NO Money - so no SURGERY for now . . .
This summer, I temporarily chose not to schedule any speaking engagements, since according to three surgeons, I need to have shoulder surgery to repair a torn labral cartilage (52 years of adventure :-).
* Getting to old to have rescued a coyote hung up in a wire fence.
* No more solo retreats deep into the Atchafalaya Swamp :-(
- Oh well, after four decades of paddling into God's creation, I've had more than my fair share of adventures :-) Soon I'll be in God's new, unimaginably beautiful creation with a resurrected body free from sin & suffering!
However, more important financial needs have led me to postpone my surgery indefinitely. So, please pray as we readjust: (helping some of my six kids with their college bills even though they work multiple jobs & cover most on their own -- saving for one of my son's next heart/lung surgeries -- plus Linda and I are burdened to give more for others who are oppressed and abused - many with more serious medical needs who don't even have an option for treatment.) As you pray for us and especially for them, feel free to contact as you're have need.

Sharing the accumulated knowledge, research, and conclusions of 100's of PhD scholars whose worldview is fully consistent with Scripture. Due to an overload of responsibilities, my availability to travel and speak now is far more limited than it was in the past. If your group is interested in hosting a presentation, Q & A, or debate, please let me know well in advance of your desired date (s). Also, please plan for adequate community notification so that we can reach as many people as possible and make wise, efficient use of God's time and our effort. Thanks!

As our children and grandchildren head off into the world (college and/or work), they will be bombarded with anti-Christian claims designed to undermine their trust in God, the Scripture, and the morality of Christ's character. In this anniversary year of Darwin's birth (200th) and book (150th), secular sources are flooding the media with anti-biblical propaganda presentations.
Here is an opportunity to come and bring friends and discover the wonderful resources and evidences available (1,000's of PhD scholars) to defend "why" you believe what you believe. Not just Mr. Galloway's opinion - I'll be sharing the conclusions of top scientists from around the world in every field of study.
Feel free to bring friends who doubt the Christian, creation worldview. That always makes Q & A more fun and practical.
